The new demo has no time limit and supports webcams for image
acquisition.
All operators including operators from the Smart libraries are
usable.
The only limitations are: igraphs cannot be saved and run speeds
limited to turtle speed.

A flaw in WiT 8.3 released on Nov 20, 2006 was found.
The workaround is trivial but leaving the bug in place will cause a
lot of operator library definition files to contain incorrect data
which will have to be edited manually to fix.
Since only a handful of users have upgraded to 8.3,
we decided to simply change the release instead of issuing a service pack.
If you have downloaded 8.3 prior to Dec 8, 2006,
please download it again.

WiT 8.3 supports both 32 and 64-bit Windows.
When installing WiT,
we recommend that you use the setup assistants: setupCD, setupRT,
or setupWeb.
Some users have mistakenly installed both 32 and 64-bit versions
of the dongle driver and caused the dongle driver to fail.
Using the setup assistants will avoid such problems.
If the WiT License Manager reports that the dongle is not available,
uninstall all existing dongle drivers and reinstall.

Some time ago a user reported that sometimes the type of a data object
may change mysteriously during igraph execution.
We have finally been able to replicate the problem and fix it.
The conditions for this bug to occur is rather obscure. It happens when you change an operator parameter into an input, and the operator is bypassed, and the data object is shared by some other operator. A temporary patch is available which will be included when WiT 8.2 sp 3 is released. Please send a request to wit@dalsa-coreco.com

Experimental audio library now available from the
WiT forum.
This library allows you to use the sound card in your PC to
acquire or output audio data.
Go to WiT folder of Files section in the WiT forum and download the file
audio.zip.
To use the library in WiT,
unzip files under the $WITHOME directory,
register WitAudioSource.ax with
Regsvr32.exe and start WiT with audio.wrc configuration.
