Igraphs are block diagrams which can be executed at high speed. Each building block in an igraph is an operator that operates on input data and generate output data. Most WiT operators process image or image related data. Operators are connected by links which control how the data is passed from one operator to another.
Following is a simple igraph which reads and image, smooths it, then displays it as a surface plot.
The magnifying glass

"original" causes WiT to display any data object (in this case an MRI
image of the brain) to be displayed in a detached window. The image
and the final surface is shown below.
