If you are a manufacturer wishing to incorporate algorithms and solutions created with WiT in your applications, you can purchase a WiT run time license for each system. In addition to using dongles for license protection, WiT run times can use a Coreco Imaging board as the protection device. The password is keyed to the serial number on the board, allowing you to transfer the license from one PC to another and avoiding the dongle as an extra component in your system. Any additional component is always an extra potential cause for failure.
WiT run time licenses are good forever, and you can upgrade all your existing run times to any new version of WiT provided that you upgrade at least one of your WiT development licenses. If you need to use any of the SmartSeries operators in your run time, then you need to use a different part number.
Use the following part numbers when ordering WiT run times:
| Regular run time, USB dongle | OC-WR00-0000031 |
| Regular run time, Parallel port dongle | OC-WR00-0000021 |
| Regular run time, Coreco Imaging board | OC-WR00-0000011 |
| Run time with SmartSeries, USB dongle | OC-WR00-S000031 |
| Run time with SmartSeries, Parallel port dongle | OC-WR00-S000021 |
| Run time with SmartSeries, Coreco Imaging board | OC-WR00-S000011 |
A WiT run time license will also allow you to run eWiT on a PC. Multiple eWiTs can be connected to a host PC running WiT or the WiT Engine. eWiT can execute any subgraph as directed by the WiT master, allowing multiple PCs to run in parallel as a distributed processing system.
